FORMING LEADERS ON ATHLETIC GROUNDS (FLAG)

The FLAG is a sports program that seeks to promote better appreciation for sports among Anthonians, provide sports-based educational scholarship to deserving students, and develop athletes who can be the flag-bearers of St. Anthony’s College.  These athletes will not be only physically and mentally capable of excelling in their choice of sports but will more importantly be models of sportsmanship and leadership in the discipline.

In the meantime, FLAG is specializing in swimming, karatedo, taekwondo, badminton, volleyball, sepak takraw, jumping, throwing, and running events.  Other sports being lined up for inclusion in the FLAG are softball, basket ball and football.

What can you contribute?

The FLAG needs funding and material support.  Athletic uniforms and gears, nutritional supplement, equipment, and training are necessary to make this program successful.  Athletes will also need support for their travelling expenses when they are competing off-campus.
